Projects-2021
Discover Our Work in Year 2021
In 2021, Aarogyam UK expanded its commitment to whole-person, culturally responsive care through a wide range of community-driven initiatives. This was a year of building bridges — between practices and innovation, between care and community — setting the foundation for an even stronger, more inclusive community.
Ace in My Hand
The Ace in My Hand Project is a specially designed program that supports children in developing essential self-regulation skills. The project empowers children to independently managing their emotions and actions, laying the foundation for stronger emotional resilience and social skills.
Mindful Movement
The Mindful Movement Project brings together gentle physical activity, breathwork, and awareness practices to support emotional balance and stress relief.
Designed for all ages and abilities, it helps participants reconnect with their bodies, calm their minds, & build inner resilience.
Ayu-Psychiatry
The Ayu-Psychiatry Initiative bridges the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with modern psychiatric principles to offer holistic mental health support. It aims to create accessible, culturally sensitive pathways for mental wellness, honoring both tradition and innovation in mental health care.
Echoes of Silence
Offering short silent retreats or reflective day programs, this project helps individuals experience inner stillness, process emotional burdens, and reconnect with self-awareness — blending mindfulness, journaling, and guided contemplative practices in a safe, supportive environment.
Sound Healing
Participants engage in sound-based therapy sessions using humming, chanting, tuning forks, and gentle music, helping to regulate the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and foster emotional clarity through the healing power of sound. Project focusing on exploring voice, vibration, and music.
